My client is looking for a Lead Java Developer with strong experience across event-driven architecture, database technologies, and containerisation, with a wealth of experience in Java backend development on highly regulated and complex systems. If you have experience working in fast-paced fintech environments this will be of interest to you.

Lead Java Developer – Essential Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in hands-on software development using Java.
• Strong experience in Cloud-native application design, development, and architecture, primarily in Azure.
• Solid exposure to Event-driven Architecture/System Design and Enterprise Integration patterns.
• Expertise across various SQL/NoSQL database technologies and Containerisation/Orchestration – Kubernetes.
• Any experience working within complex fintech or payments environments is advantageous.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, Agile environment.
• Ability to lead projects or mentor less experienced members of the wider team.
